Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1850s.
Each with a curved back rest, with reeded edges, scrolling to leaf heads, the lower back rests carved with flowing leaf decoration above an upholstered seat pad, flanked by down-swept scrolled arms, finished with disc paterae. The legs of tapering ring turned design.
Height 33 1/2 inches; width 22 inches; depth 19 inches.
