Description

This is a superb and very elegant Edwardian solid silver bridge box. Of plain rectangular form, the domed cover applied with the lettering "Bridge". The hinged front opens to reveal a gilt interior. Made by the reputed Stokes & Ireland and retailed by Sorley of Glasgow, silversmiths to his majesty the King. It has an excellent silver gauge, a testimony to its quality. The unusual hinged front opening and the elegance and simplicity of its design makes it a very desirable piece.
