Description

Antique georgian country oak peg joined side table desk lowboy c1780

This is a lovely antique george 111 country oak side table desk or lowboy and dating from aorund 1780. Constructed from solid oak and hand & peg joined. It has a moulded edge to the top with a long drawer which is oak lined and with a beautiful burr oak front and brass handles with shaped frieze below. It stands on round tapering legs on a pad foot.

It is in very good condition with lovely colour and original patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 29" high X 21.5"deep X 31" wide
