Lovely quality antique victorian art nouveau mahogany double bedstead c1890

This is a lovely quality antique victorian art nouveau mahogany double bedstead and dating from aorund 1890. It has archiectural squared bedposts with a wide inverted top rail to the headboard above squared splat supports with a central wide splat with typically art nouveau carved rose and the footboard mirrors the headboard but with shaped frieze below and to either side of the footboard. It stands on squared legs on castors.

It is in very good condition with a deep colour and original patination to the mahogany and oozes the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: height to headboard 57" X height to footboard 45" X 82" long X 54" wide

Takes a standard double mattress
