Lovely Pair Antique Victorian Mahogany Salon Library Armchairs C1890

Description

Superb pair antique late victorian mahogany salon tub style armchairs c1890:

A lovely pair late victorian mahogany salon armchairs and dating from around 1890. They have shaped and reeded side rails to the deep rolled head rest and padded back with curved and swept upholstered armrests on carved & pierced mahogany supports and with shaped and reeded mahogany supports to teh front. They have a deep upholstered seat and stand on turned legs on castors. In recent years this lovely pair of chairs have been recovered in a quality fabric and keeping the original horsehair.

A lovely pair of victorian mahogany chairs in very good condition being sound and solid and which ooze the charm and character of the period and I am sure that whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measurements: 36" high X seat height 15" X depth 29" X width 26"

Both chairs measure the same
