This painting itself dates to the mid 20th century, an original work by this world famous studio in Paris, ‘Atelier Dagher’. The Atelier Dagher for many years faithfully painting old masters copies. One of few artists authorised by the Louvre and Orsay Museums in Paris to paint in situ. Mr Amal Dagher, the senior member of the family of painters, often present in front of his easel in the Louvre Museum painting in the way of the Old Masters. The Dagher Atelier is located in Boulogne Billancourt (92100) near Paris.

An ‘Atelier Dagher’ commission can run into many thousands of euros/pounds and this is an excellent opportunity to acquire one of their original works. Painted on this very large scale, it is a magnificent and fine quality work indeed.

Rare for a Dagher work, this painting is signed by Dagher himself, which very much adds to its appeal and it carries an official stamp verso to the canvas.
Condition; The painting is in overall very good and decorative condition.
