Edwardian Inlaid Mahogany Cylinder Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

A fine quality Edwardian period inlaid mahogany cylinder desk, or bureau. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany with inlaid boxwood stringing throughout . The top is surmounted by an attractive open fret-work gallery. The cylinder fall front is opened to reveal a fitted interior with stationary compartments, fitted drawers and a sumptuous green leather writing surface. Beneath the fall front is a pair of drawers. All standing on elegant tapering legs which are united by under-stretchers. Offered for sale in excellent original condition with a great colour and patina.
