An unusual Arts & Crafts oak library armchair with ‘Sleepy Hollow’ carved to the pegged top rail and chamfered edges to the frame. Similar in style to the reclining armchairs designed by Charles Bevan for Marsh & Jones this comfortable chair is upholstered in brown rexine and has a padded back, seat and arm rests. In good condition with old repairs to the inside of the arm supports and some discolouration to the edging braid.
