Kingsize French Solid Walnut with Gilded Bronze Decoration Bed

Description

Very nice quality solid walnut French king size bed. with decorative gilded bronze ormalu mounts depicting pineapple ed knobs, garlands and floral decorations with bow and quiver. All symbols of good fortune, health and fertility.The bed has been professionally cleaned and waxed to preserve the beautiful colour and patina. Side rails adapted to support modern length king size mattress 150cm x 200 cm.

Max head board height 167.5cm

Mas foot board height 89.5cm

Overall width 164cm

Overall length 218cm

Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress)

As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply a 2" deep upholstered mini box base for £225. (As used for photograph) We can also supply hand made mattresses in all comfort choices from £250-£750. Please ask for details or look at mattress section of our own web site.

We can arrange national and international delivery with reliable couriers. Please send postcode/address for quotation.

Bedsteads have been sourcing, restoring and retailing antique beds and bedroom furniture for over 25 years.

We do have many beds awaiting restoration if you are looking for a particular style and can send images if requested. We have our own workshops located along side our showroom in a beautiful medieval barn seven miles south of Bristol.

Workshop/store open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

Saturday 10am-4pm
