Stunning Antique Regency Inlaid Mahogany Chest of Drawers C1800

19th century
Description

This is a stunning antique regency inlaid mahogany chest of drawers and dating from aorund 1800. It has wide inlaid and cross banded edge to the moulded top with deep mahogany frieze inlaid with floral motif to the centre and to each end an inlaid conche shell. This is above two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which have inlaid stringing and cross banded edges and are oak lined with original brass handles. To each side there is a reeded column ending with an inlaid and strung panel. It stands on beautifully shaped bracket feet.

This lovely chest is in very good condition with good colour and deep patination and oozes the charm and character of the period.

It measures:

45" high X 21" deep X 48" wide
