Description

Antique Carved Oak Arm Chair / Occasional Chair. This wonderful and most unusual carver oak arm / occasional chair has a lovely carved back of interior tavern scene with a shaped and carved centre splat. The arm rests have carved decoration at the ends and are supported by turned supports. Having a round moulded seat with carved edge. All supported by turned legs and united by turned stretchers.
This is a very comfortable chair and has a makers label under the seat for Geo C Flint Co. west 23rd St NY These were one of the best known furniture makers in New York
