Antique Georgian Mahogany Bureau of Quality C1780

18th century
Description

Antique georgian mahogany bureau and dating from aorund 1780. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a fall front with brass escutcheon which opens to reveal a row of 7 pigeon holes with shaped frieze above and a row of 5 small drawers and with a mahogany writing surface supported on lopers. There are four long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined and with original brass handles and key escutcheons. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet.

It is in very good condition with lovely colour and deep patination to the mahogany and I am sure whoever buys this will be very pleased with their purchase.

Measures: 41" high X 30" to writing surface X 19" deep X 37" wide
