Hingstons of Wilton has dated this piece to the 1910s.
This cash register would have been made circa 1900-1920
This size was known as the Candy Store register
As this is of such a great small size, it is perfect to be used as an interesting piece that would not only be interesting to friends or customers (according to where it is being shown) but also not taking up too much valuable space.
Normally wooden cash tills would have been used in most outlets of the period.

The bronze panels are covered in fantastic elaborate decoration, and with the brand name cast on the bronze on the drawer front and also to the rear.
