Georgian Mahogany Chest with Brushing Slide. Circa 1785

18th century
Description

Fine George III figured mahogany chest of four long drawers and fitted with brushing slide in frieze. The cock beeded drawers pine lined with cedar sides and having the original brass handles and escutcheons. All in superb condition with no splits or cracks. Wonderful rich colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 36" wide, 19" deep, 35" high
