Description

Walnut highboy chest in the Georgian style

This Walnut highboy chest in the Georgian style was made in one of the best workshops of the day.

The walnut was chosen with care, and was selected for its grain and its interesting appearance once laid.

This walnut chest is fitted 5 full width drawers, all with the original brass plate handles.

The front edges of the sides that run alongside the drawers, have a fine chamfered edge, adding to the class this chest gives to the eye.

The chest stands on fine carved short cabriole legs, with scroll toes.
