Good Japanese Edo Period Stained IVory Netsuke - Tobosaku And Boy

As part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this Edo period (1615-1868) circa 1790 Japanese stained Ivory Netsuke depicting Tobosaku and a boy, the bearded Sennin is modelled laying down guarding a peach, whilst the young boy clings on to his back, a great addition to your Japanese works of art or Netsuke collection.
Notes:
Tobosaku is the bad guy in the Japanese mythology who stole not only one, but three peaches out of Seibo''s garden, so he became immortal, probably explaining why Tobosaku is always shown as an old man with a broad smile and a peach in his hand.
