Description

Lovely little 18th.c. Welsh oak box settle or hall bench c.1750. Just 51" wide. Tall sloping backrest with five raised and fielded panels over shaped arms. Hinged seat allowing access storage space below – ideal for boots and shoes etc. Base also with raised and fielded panels to the front and sides. Fabulous colour and character with some earlier repairs and restorations. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
