Small Antique Georgian Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

A lovely Georgian mahogany chest of drawers of nice small proportions dating from the early 19th Century. It has a straight front and is set on traditional bracket feet with two short and two long drawers with the original turned knobs.

It is in good condition and is a sturdy piece that has been well made and well looked after. The drawers are generally clean and tidy and all run well. It as a lovely warm colour and rich patina. It is not without a few small surface marks and knocks and some minor historic repairs but only as to be expected with a piece of this age. The back is strong and sturdy and free from any signs of worm. Overall a lovely piece that displays very well
