Late 1800'S Pine Flat Top Blanket Chest

Description

A very nice example of a late 1800's old pine blanket chest that has recently been stripped of its original paint and professionally wax polished.

It has a flat top lid, which makes its useful as a coffee table alternative. It would also work well as a shoe store, or toy box.

We think it would look very nice at the end of one's bed storing, as originally intended, linen and blankets.

Overall it is in excellent condition for its age, including the back of the box and the original lock and key and strap hinges. Inside you'll find a candle box - (typical of chest's of this time).
