Description

An unusual sterling silver Vesta in the shape of a heart. This rare piece has a British 'threepenny bit' or 'threepence' mounted to the front and is dated to 1921. A striker is found to the side and the body is decorated with foliar engraving. There is a shield shaped cartouche to the reverse with stylised initials and to the left hand side is a attaching loop for a fob chain or chatelaine. A lovely collector's piece.
