Smart Large Antique English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1916

Description

A very smart and simple photograph frame, lovely quality by the well renowned silversmith, A & J Zimmerman.

The silver is a good gauge hallmarked for Birmingham 1916, making this a true antique example, over 100 years old.

The solid English Oak backing incorporates a folding easel back stand, the most popular kind, allowing the frame to be used in both a Portrait or Landscape configuration so should be able to accommodate most photographs.

Excellent condition measuring 9 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 1" thick; the glazed aperture measuring 7 3/4" x 5 7/8".
