Fine French Ormolu & Porcelain Mantel Clock

Description

A handsome and particularly fine quality mid-19th century French porcelain mounted ormolu MANTEL CLOCK in perfect working order.

The case, with its pineapple finials, is of crisp, finely cast ormolu retaining its original bright gilding, and is mounted with a porcelain panel of cherubs below the porcelain dial and two further curved porcelain panels to the sides.

The 8-day movement strikes hours and half-hours on a bell and retains its original enamel dial and blued steel hands in perfect condition. Guaranteed at least two years. 13ins high; 10ins wide; 5ins deep. (33 x 25.5 x 12.5cms).
