Description

First Period Worcester kidney shape dessert dish / compotier painted with the Rubber Tree Plant pattern, c.1775. With decorative branches and pseudo Chinese marks to the reverse as is specific to this pattern. Referenced in Worcester Blue & White Porcelain 1751-1790, Branyan, French & Sandon, section I.E.47.

It measures 10 1/2" (27cm) wide, 7 3/4" (20cm) deep and 1 1/2" (4cm) high. Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and surface wear is really minimal, it has clearly been very little used. A very nice example.
