A 19th century Tole Tray.

The oval tray with a raised open lancet rim, with gilt top edge, and shaped hand holds.

The centre of the tray painted with a rural scene of cows grazing, as two men fish on a river bank, with a horse and cart crossing a bridge, from a village in the background.

The scene enclosed within a gilt laurel leaf border.

Height. 1 ½ inches 4cm.

Width. 22 ½ inches 57cm.

Depth. 18 inches 46cm.
