Small English Victorian Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1897

Description

Pretty as a picture and a wonderful (and unusual) small size. This wonderful frame was made by the well renowned silversmith, A & J Zimmerman and hallmarked Birmingham 1897, a true Victorian example.

The frame is lucky enough to retain the original bevelled glass. The wooden back incorporates a folding easel stand.

Excellent condition measuring 3 5/8" x 1 1/8" x 5/8" thick. The glazed aperture measures 2 3/8" x 1 1/4".
