A GOOD AND VERY PRACTICAL HILLS TEN DRAWER COLLECTORS CABINET VENEERED IN MAHOGANY WITH LIFT OUT DOOR AND DETACHABLE BASE AND TOP. THESE CABINETS WERE 'STACKABLE' AS A COLLECTION INCREASED IN SIZE AND RANGE BUT ARE ABLE TO STAND ALONE PROVIDING THE TOP AND BASE ARE PRESENT AS IS THE CASE WITH THIS ONE. HILLS CABINETS CEASED TO BE PRODUCED IN THE MID 20th CENTURY BUT ARE STILL HIGHLY PRIZED AS PRACTICAL AND VERSATILE COLLECTORS CABINETS.

THE CABINET HAS HARDLY BEEN USED AND THE DRAWERS, WHICH ARE MORE THAN AMPLE FOR THE ACCOMMODATION OF CONTINENTAL LENGTH PINS, ARE READY FOR SERVICE. THE DRAWERS ALL SLIDE WELL ON HIDDEN BEARER RUNNERS AND HAVE CLOSELY FITTED GLAZED FRAME TOPS. THE FRONT PANEL LIFTS OUT AND IS FITTED WITH LOCK AND KEY.
