A Smart Art Deco Silver Match Book Holder

This is a charming Art Deco silver match book holder with a gilded interior. The body is shaped and decorated with engine turning and features a vacant cartouche. These would have been used in place of the more usual vesta and would contain a match book with striker. An excellent and attractive collector's piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents, splits or holes. There are a couple of pinprick dimples and some light shadowing to the back, commensurate with age and use
