This clock would certainly be in the top ten of all the clocks we have ever have offered for sale.
Made by A. LIDDELL of Bold Street, LIVERPOOL it is in totally original, pristine condition.
The 8 day, twin train movement strikes the hours on a bell with a beautiful crisp tone. It has just been fully serviced by our BHI registered staff and carries our usual 12 mths parts and labour guarantee.
The 14" dia., white painted dial has black Roman numerals, subsidary seconds dial and superbly cut hands. It has a key-lockable wooden turned bezel. The hood slides off for access to the movement.
The flame mahogany case retains it's original Frech-polished finish and is immaculate throughout. The fully glazed, key-lockable door allows the heavy, regulator pendulum to be seen working. The suberb brass weights are in perfect condition as is the pendulum. The base of the case terminates in a quarter round finish that compliments the very high quality of this superb clock.
Liverpool made clocks are regarded as amongst the finest ever produced due to the extreme wealth of it's inhabitants during the period when this clock would have been commissioned.
All, no obligation, inspections welcomed.
All cards accepted.
