Silver & Cut Glass Writing Set Inc.Inkwell/stamp/pen Holder London 1907

A superb silver and cut glass writing set. In handsome Edwardian style, this set contains a silver topped inkwell in the centre and two silver topped stamp boxes either side. The front of the glass is shaped for holding a pen. The glass is thick and heavy and each of the silver lids bear hallmarks on the inside and to the rims. Hallmarks are for the London Assay Office 1906 & 1907 along with the maker''s mark for George Betjemann.
 
 
 
Definitely a collectors item, the craftmanship is evident - a fine writing set associated with a fine maker!
 
 
 
Condition: This item is in wonderful antique condition. The silver is in great order, as is the solid glass base. There a some minor scratches to the front edge of where the pen would sit which we mentioned for accuracy only.
