Victorian Antique Silver Snuff Box 1901

This superb STERLING SILVER SNUFF BOX is of ovoid form and has a beautifully rococo decorated design to the lid and base.

Made in 1901 by the well-known and sought after silversmiths of Saunders & Shepherd, this lovely Silver Snuff Box has crimped edges to lid and base which add to the fabulous design. The interior retains the original gilt coating and there is a small central blank cartouche to the lid which could be used to personalise this superb antique.

There are no added engravings, monograms or initials and this classic Victorian Silver Box is in excellent condition despite being over 115 years old.

Originally this would have been a Table Snuff Box but would make a lovely Trinket Box and is ideal for rings and small trinkets, would make a stunning gift for someone or would enhance any silver collection.
