Exceptional Pair Of Silver Vases Birmingham 1930 & 1932

A very fine pair of solid silver vases. Handsomely shaped, the body of each vase is a nicely ribbed design that runs up to an encompassed protruding border. The top part is beautifully decorated with ornamented unusually styled motifs (see images). Each vase stands on a single circular foot. The bases have a lovely wooden finish. Clear hallmarks are visible on the top part of each vase, both for the Birmingham Assay Office, one with a date mark of 1930 the other with a date mark of 1932, both bear the same maker''s marks for Alexander Clark, whose craftmanship is so very clearly apparent.
 
 
 
These vases are exceptional collector''s quality, they are a good solid heavy gauge and an impressive size.
 
 
 
Condition: Both of the vases are in collector''s antique condition.
