Antique Oak Dresser Side Table

19th century
Description

Antique oak dresser side table

This Antique oak dresser side table was made in a country workshop circa 1900.

The village craftsman used a redundant gate leg table, and other items to construct this very interesting and attractive piece.

As he used the antique timber, there was already good colour and patina on the oaks surface.

The oak side table is fitted a pair of drawers under the top, that are fitted with brass plate swing handles.

Under the drawers are a pair of shaped arches, with turnings down to the pot board at the base.
