Description

Mid 19th.c. rosewood sofa table c.1870. Symmetrical rosewood veneered top with two folding leaves with a broad satinwood crossbanded border and satinwood strung edge. Over two mahogany lined drawers with inlaid rosewood fronts and brass knobs, repeated as dummy drawer fronts on the rear. Raised on a pair of turned columns over a shaped plinth and swept legs with inlaid detail, ending in brass claw feet and castors. Old repairs to the top and one replacement knob on the rear. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
