Brass Standard Lamp & Wine Table C.1890.

Description

Remarkable late 19th.c. brass standard lamp c.1890. Adapted from an oil lamp, the bulb is raised on the original reservoir on a twist column and highly decorative tripod base with elaborately shaped supports and feet. Unusually, the column also supports a useful wine table (19" x 17") in green onyx with a shaped brass gallery. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished, rewired and sold with a PAT test certificate.
