A superb pair of mahogany and inlaid pedestal bedside chests from the renown makers Maples & Co. of London. Paris, Buenos Airies and by Royal Appointment. The rectangular cross banded tops having boxwood and ebony line inlaid stringing with moulded edge. The 4 graduated figured mahogany drawers with conforming boxwood and ebony stringing, turned pulls and ivorine escutcheons and the whole raised on plinth bases.
