Smart Large Art Deco English Sterling Silver Photograph Frame - 1928

Description

A fabulous large English photograph frame made from sterling silver with an all-over engine turned decoration, a popular choice for both a traditional or modern interior.

The silver is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1928, 90 years old; together with the makers mark for the well renowned silversmith, Sanders and Mackenzie.

The silver wraps around the sides of the solid English Oak backing incorporating a folding easel back stand. This is the most sought after type of backing with the easel allowing the frame to sit either portrait or landscape, making it a versatile choice.

Excellent condition measuring 12" x 8 1/2" with a glazed aperture measuring approximately 10 3/4" x 7 3/8".
