Regency Giltwood Convex Mirror

Description

A beautiful high quality giltwood convex wall mirror, retaining the original mirror plate and burnished water gilding. The acanthus and sunflower carving to both top and bottom are made in carved relief with a gilt wood surround, having an ebonised reeded slip. Superb colour and patina throughout. English, Circa 1820.

Dimensions: Height: 91.5 cm - 36 Inches, Diameter: 54.5 cm - 21 1/2 Inches.
