Lilian Stannard 1877-1944.Painter of garden scenes,usually in watercolour, in the manner of Helen Allingham.From a well-known Bedford family of artists.Sister of Henry Sylvester Stannard and the daughter of John Stannard.Exhibited at RA 1902-1930 and at the RI.’The Old Moat ‘ and ‘The Lily Pond’ pair signed watercolours; each image size 25x35cms, each framed size 46x56cms; original regilded frames and with original Frost and Reed labels to the back boards.
