Antique 1919 silver Saqui & Lawrence pocket watch.

The watch has a nice quality Swiss key-winding movement which is working nicely. The watch comes with an antique winding key. The movement is protected with its original dust cover.

The watch itself measures 53.8mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and has London import marks for 1919 with the importers mark for William Henry Sparrow. The case has light surface marks from use and a couple of small "dings" to the back edge but overall it is in nice condition for a 1919 piece.

The watch glass is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is signed Saqui & Lawrence, London, the original retailers of the watch. In 1908, H Samuel acquired Saqui & Lawrence to gain a presence in London, and they continued to use the Saqui & Lawrence name. The dial has a faint hairline crack between 9 & 10 o'clock although only noticeable through a jewellers loupe.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
