Victorian English Sterling Silver Tea Caddy 1897

Description

A stunning ANTIQUE SILVER TEA CADDY made by Plante & Co. in 1897.

Of classic ovoid bulbous form, this delightful Tea Caddy has a dragooned lower half and a hinged lid with ebonised wood finial. The interior of the Caddy retains its original vibrant gilt coating which is in perfect condition.

Free from any added engravings, monograms or initials, this lovely Silver Tea Caddy is in excellent condition and would look good in any setting or would enhance any collection.
