Georgian Oak Cottage Longcase Clock. Circa 1760

18th century
Description

Unusual George III oak cased simple cottage longcase clock with 30 hour striking movement with engraved brass dial by Kent of Saffron Walden. The single hand birdcage movement fully restored and in working order. The case in fine condition with old replacement plinth and movement has replaced seat board. Case lovely colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 74" high, 14" wide at hood, 9" deep at hood. 10" dial.
