Description

Wonderful 19th century silver box; of serpentine form, this fine hinged lidded piece has foliate decoration to the sides and a plain base. The lid is a fabulous display of berries and buds on a matted background. The craftsmanship is quite superb. Made in Hanau, this box was imported into UK by the hugely respected company of Berthold Mueller of London. Of lovely proportions, this is an absolute joy!
