Description

A 1936 Rolex 9K gold wristwatch. An octagonal 9K gold case, marked to the inner 'RWC ltd' and 'Rolex, 7 world records, Geneva-Suisse'. Engraved decorations to the case sides. A silvered dial with gilt Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. A 15 jewel Rolex manual wind mechanism. The strap is a later rolled gold replacement. The case bears hallmarks for Glasgow import circa 1936.
