This Victorian turned leg leather reading chair was made circa 1865
A chair of this design, is perfect for sitting and relaxing to read.
The mahogany show-wood that runs around the back, and down to the open padded arms.

The arm supports, with scroll hand grips that are very good for lifting you off the chair.

The chair stands on well turned mahogany legs, with the original brass cup handles and china wheel castors.
The leather upholstery is secured by many brass headed studs, that are carefully tapped in.
