Antique Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch 1912.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 18372030 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company… Aaron Dennison had a close association with Waltham before emigrating to the UK from the US. The case was originally ‘guaranteed to wear 20 years’. The case has light surface markks from use and the odd small "ding" but overall it is in nice condition for a 1912 piece.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens. It is very common for the original glass lenses to be replaced and we see this often… it is difficult to tell the difference as they look so similar but they are a lot more durable.

The signed white enamel dial has a faint hairline crack below the sub seconds dial but otherwise it is in nice condition .

The watch has gold hands.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
