A Stylish Art Deco Silver & Gold Compact

A stylish silver compact with a gold insert, dating from the Art Deco era. The lid is hinged and contains the original mirror and the body is of superb gauge silver. To the base inside, there is the original powder pad and the area beneath is gilded. The outside of the case is decorated in fabulous Art Deco engine turned design, with a rose gold insert featuring the initials EM. A lovely collector's piece of superior quality. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Very good with no splits or dents. There are a few small dimples to the reverse , commensurate with age and use. The hinge is good.
