A wonderful figural inkwell made from heavy cast brass and beautifully executed with great detail.

The lid lifts to reveal either the artist's initials or the original owner's initials M.D together with the date 1888.

Excellent condition measuring 6 1/4" x 4 3/4" x 2 1/4".
