A Superb Early Victorian 5 Leaf Extending Dining Table

A Superb and Rare Early Victorian Mahogany Extending Dining Table With five Original extension leaves made in Sheffield by the Cabinet making firm of J Manuel Devonshire Street, it is a Wind out table and uses a very unusual chain driven mechanism (see Images) the timber runners for the extension are very well engineered with double runners (see images) , I has five legs the extra one in the middle the four corner legs are nicely carved the middle one is turned but not carved, It can be used with any combination of leaves and is quite a large table without any leaves in place. the table has been fully restored and polished by us using traditional methods and materials and is ready to use and i am sure will give many years service. It will seat 18 or even 20 at a push.
