In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
It has a full horse hair tail and tufty remains of a horse hair mane.
It is in excellent playworn condition and displays beautifully. The wheels roll well and the wood is free of worm and major damage. It is of course covered in knocks and scuffs and lots of signs of wear and use. The paint is faded and chipped and the saddle cover is worn and lifting around the egdes torn but this is what makes the piece so wonderful.
It really is the sweetest little horse and the best one i've ever owned. The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask
