Domed Top Inlaid Mahogany Bijouterie Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A very rare and unusual mahogany bijouterie table , or cabinet, from the Edwardian period. Of fine construction in solid mahogany and embellished with inlaid stringing detailing throughout. With a glazed dome top, with one side opening to gain access to the display space. The opening door is lockable with the key being supplied. With further inlaid detailing to each of the four sides. Standing on elegant slender turned legs which are united by a stablising x-frame under-stretcher. Offered for sale in excellent condition with a marvelous colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home, or shop.
